It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Mark, who supported our patients here at Derwent Valley Medical Practice through his work with Phoenix Futures. Mark passed away on Tuesday, 2nd September.
Although Mark was not directly employed by the practice, he was an integral part of our team and a vital support to many of our patients’ facing challenges with alcohol and drug use. His dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to helping others made a lasting impact on our community in Derby.
Mark was a joy to be around—bright, bubbly, and full of enthusiasm. He brought warmth and positivity into every room he entered and worked tirelessly to support those in need. His success in helping patients was a testament to his compassion and skill, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of working with him.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mark for everything he did for our patients and the wider community. His legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the hope he gave to so many.
