  • Thursday 2nd April – Monthly Gym Pass for Carers & 1 Guest – 11am-Noon at Springwood Leisure Centre. 
  • Tuesday 7th April – Indoor Virtual Spin class for Carers & 1 Guest – 11am-Noon at Springwood Leisure Centre.
  • Thursday 9th April – Carers Craft Cafe – Peer Led & Carers Only – 10.30am-12.30pm at Dubrek Studios.
  • Monday 13th April – Eastern European Carers Peer Support Group – 11am-1pm –  Rebecca House, Derby Homes, Off Uttoxeter Old Road, DE1 1GF.
  • Tuesday 14th April – Indoor Virtual Spin Class for Carers & 1 Guest – 7pm-8pm at Springwood Leisure Centre. 
  • Tuesday 21st April – CARERS HUB – 10.30am-2.30pm at Mackworth Library.
  • Tuesday 21st April – Shared Reads with Derby Book Festival – 3pm-4pm at Mackworth Library.
  • Friday 24th April – Wild Minds Outdoor Crafts – 10.30am-12.20pm at Clemson’s Park. See poster below to book directly with them and for further dates in 2026
  • Friday 27th April – 2-4pm – Dementia Carers Cafe at Derby Theatre. 
  • Tuesday 5th May – Men’s Peer Support Group – Kedleston Hall Tour – time tbc.

  • Wednesday 15th April – Carers Week Volunteer Meeting  – 11:30am-1pm – there is still time to volunteer, email nadine.thomas@derby.gov.uk to get involved
  • Wednesday 15th April – Dementia Drop-In – 2:30-4pm – Community Corner, Pride Park with Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia Palliative Care Team, Integrated Dementia Nurse Team and activities for those living with Demetia provided by Derby County Community Trust. Free Parking 
  • Wednesday 15th April – Engagement Stand – 13:30 – 15:30 Florence Nightingale Hospital Entrance 
  • Wednesday 22nd April – Derby Carers Connect Workshop  -11am-2pm at Community Action Derby See image below to book on.

  • Monday 27th April – End of Life Carer Drop in – 13:30 – 15:30 Ward 2 Derby Royal Hospital 
  • Wednesday 29th April – ESOL Future Careers and Wellbeing – 9:30-11am St James Centre

We know that many of you enjoy the bi-monthly Melodic Moments relaxed afternoon concerts with Derby Sinfonia. Their next concert is on Tuesday 14th April. On this occasion the service will not be sponsoring free tickets however you can purchase your own for this performance.
